“Building Simplicity” is a multi-year documentary film project that follows Eric as he builds an ocean-going “trimaran” in the Colorado Rockies. As 2016 begins, Eric makes the mold stations to fabricate the Akas, continues work on the deck, and laminates the cabin windshield.

Why do “normal” people risk their lives to climb on frozen walls of ice?  ‘Ice’ follows recreational climbers at the Ouray Ice Park to find out. Winner of the 2013 Colorado Film Award, plus additional awards from film festivals around the world.

Wind + snow + guts! Para-skiing takes adventurers to amazing new heights – on the snow and into thin mountain air. ‘The Wind Catchers’ tells the story of Colorado para-skiers who are “addicted to wind”. I hope to finish the project in early 2016.
‘Building Simplicity’ is a multi-year documentary project that follows Eric as he single-handedly builds an ocean-going trimaran named Simplicity inside an abandoned green house in the mountains near Aspen.
This short documentary examines the day-to-day struggles faced by the staff and volunteers at In-Syncs Exotics Wildlife Rescue Center. In-Syncs Exotics provides a final home for more than sixty rescued exotic big cats at their facility near Dallas.
‘Wind and Oil’. The historic oil fields in North Texas are being invaded by new energy technology. This is not a true documentary, but I did not know where else to put it.
